Description:
We are in front of a building of roughly square plan, which is developed on the ground floor, main floor and low plant cover floor. The new rehabilitation watched a series of transformations to become a cultural and administrative space, casting offices, multipurpose rooms, meeting rooms, a library, an auditorium, a kitchen, a dining area and office administration.
Description:
The intervention contemplated the incorporation of a new core of vertical communication with a ladder, lift and toilets in each level. Plants are defined from the bottom to up with a largely administrative and institutional use (Public). On the ground floor an auditorium is incorporated as one públic element.
Description:
Structural reform is used to replace the original slabs (half-timbered) thereby generating more flexible open spaces. The project also looked at the performance of a new facility weatherizing and caulking each of the rooms in the castle.
Description:
The project includes a solar perimeter fence replacing the existing wall. The aim of the fence is to obtain the maximum transparency between solar limits becoming the castle gardens in a public space with a new seamless visual gate.
Description:
The purpose of the rehabilitation project had 2 clear goals; on the one hand was to ensure the physical stability of the building, whose interior structure was in an advanced state of deterioration by the presence of fungal growths in floors and wooden beams and the other providing a renewed use of the entire floor castle area.
